Digging into Rangeland Soil Carbon Storage with Woodwell’s Scientists

An exciting collaboration between researchers from the Woodwell Climate Research Center and Soil Carbon Solutions Center is focused on tracking rangeland soil carbon in southwest Colorado.

Grazing lands have the potential to be a valuable carbon sink, provided the livestock on them are being sustainably managed, but the true magnitude of that value is not yet well understood.
